Venue

Location

The conference will take place in the conference center of the "Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie" science museum (-1 floor), located in the "Parc de la Vilette", 19th district of Paris. A private visit of the museum is scheduled on Tuesday 26th, April 2022 for the participants attending the gala dinner.

Environment

 Several places of interest are located at walking distance from the conference center:

• Strolls in the "Parc de la Vilette"
• The "Cité de la musique" concert hall and music museum
• The Villette Great Hall hosting temporary exhibitions
• The "Géode" spherical movie theater

The central Opéra and Louvre area of Paris can be reached within 15 minutes by subway (line M7, direct)

Accommodation

Several hotels offer rooms at proximity:

• Remix hotel (4 stars, 250 m)
• Holiday Inn Express Paris (1.1 km, along the Villette canal)
• Hôtel Mercure Paris 19 Philharmonie La Villette (1.0 km, across the Villette park)

For participant who prefer staying in the center of Paris, the Opéra district offers a large range of hotels (15 min subway, line M7).

Transportation

From Charles De Gaulle's airport or Gare du Nord (a single ticket from CDG to "Paris" covers the whole journey, including Metro):

• RER B to Gare du Nord: follow the "Paris by train" sign at the airport, and board any train
• At Gare du Nord, take Metro M5, direction "Place d'Italie", up to "Gare de l'Est" and then Metro M7, direction "La Courneuve" up to "Porte de la Villette"
• or at Gare du Nord, take Metro M5, direction "Bobiny", up to "Porte de Pantin" and walk 15 min. through the scenic Villette Park.
• or at Gare du Nord, take RER E, direction "Place d'Italie", up to "Rosa Park" and walk 15 min.

From Paris' center:

• Metro M7 station "Porte de la Villette", 3 min. walk
